An opportunity has opened for an experienced Class 4 Driver to join our team based Timaru servicing our local region. The role will require someone with a good level of fitness and a can-do attitude with the opportunity to progress amongst the Mainfreight group.
Day to day responsibilities:
Safe loading, securing, and unloading of freight.
Managing the pick-up and delivery of freight, on time and damage free
Ensuring your truck is maintained in excellent condition
A can-do, friendly attitude and a love for customers, are essential.
Role requirements:
A current and full Class 4 license
A forklift and Dangerous goods license
Excellent communication and immaculate personal presentation
We can provide training in regard to other requirements should you be the right candidate.
To be considered for this position you will need to:
Be a New Zealand citizen or resident
Pass a Pre-employment Drug and Alcohol test
Pass a Pre-employment Background Check
